Supermachine reading series co-curator Michael Barron and Flying Object's Guy Pettit have teamed up to form Unicorn Evil Records, a record label imprint of Flying Object book arts center. Unicorn Evil will be putting poets on both 7” and 12” vinyl. 

The first two releases will be:

FOUE-001 Lucy Ives - Anamnesis (full-length 12”):  

Lucy Ives is a poet living in Brooklyn.  She co-curates the Space Space reading series. 

FOUE-002 (split 7” limited to 100 copies): 

James Copeland & William Rahilly - “Fade to Fax” (side A)

James Copeland is a poet living in Brooklyn.  He is the managing director of Ugly Duckling Presse.  William Rahilly is Brooklyn based video artist and musician.

Alex Phillips & Bill Gillim -  ”Crash Dome” (Side 1)

Alex Phillips is a poet living in Northampton, Massachusetts. Bill Gillim performs music as Megafortress and co-curates the Diamond Mouth Surprise reading series.

The two releases will have launch readings next week at Diamond Mouth Surprise in Brooklyn next Friday and Flying Object in Hadley Massachusetts next Saturday.  You can listen to and order both releases at the Unicorn Evil bandcamp site and become a fan on facebook.
